We are on a mission to lead the continent's transition to a Decarbonized, Decentralized, Digital and Democratized (4D) electricity grid. Borena was established over 15 years ago, driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to clean, high-quality and reliable energy.
Borena Energy develops, delivers and manages renewable energy solutions across multiple asset classes. With proven experience and expertise across the project lifecycle, we work with our local communities, our customers and our reliable partners to lead the transition to Africa’s clean energy future.
We are on a mission to accelerate Africa’s energy transition towards a Decarbonized, Decentralized, Digital and fully Democratized (4D) electricity Grid. We achieve this by working with our partners to provide smart and innovative solutions to manage fleets of distributed energy assets.
We are committed to the Just Energy Transition. As we deliver our pipeline of distributed energy resources (DER) projects, we will help power over 50,000 homes by 2028. Additionally, our smart solutions will play a part in making our grid smarter, secure and more resilient.
