Immerse yourself in the Dyer Island ecosystem and meet the Marine Big 5: whales, dolphins, seals, sharks, and the endangered African penguin. From January to May, you may encounter Humpback and Brydes whales, while from June to December, the majestic Southern Right Whales grace our waters. We are the only company in the industry where you can observe sharks from the boat year- round. A visit to Geyser Rock will show you thousands of Cape Fur seals and their neighbours, the endangered African penguins, along with various other seabirds breeding on Dyer Island.
