We are one of South Africa’s best-loved hotels, maybe because we exist to please those guests who stay with us. Excellent service is our top priority, followed closely by great food, beautiful gardens with views of the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, and merging contemporary interior styling with luxury features in our rooms.

Over the past two centuries, The Vineyard has proudly evolved into one of the most environmentally-friendly, progressive hotels in Cape Town.

Taking the lead from the original owner, we have developed and adapted into the progressive hotel that you see before you today.

As an award-winning leader in responsible hoteling, we have a number of sustainability initiatives. On the property we have 80 solar panels, are supplied with green energy from the Darling Wind Farm, we harvest grey water and recycle 98% of our waste. We are also a certified member of Fair Trade Tourism involved in a number of organizations such the Event Greening Forum, of which we are founding members, we are also a member of BirdLife SA and Eco Atlas, support the Table Mountain National Park in its efforts to clear alien vegetation to name a few.
