Yammie Collectionz

Yammie Collectionz is a clothing label that was established by I, Vuyo Mavuso, in 2015. I am based in Yeoville, but originally from Alice in the Eastern Cape.

Yammie Collectionz is rooted and inspired by our continent as we specialize in Afrocentric Clothing and Accessories. My unique selling proposition is our versatility because I cater for all body sizes, shapes and occasions.

There was a market for my personal style when people began to compliment me on my self-made clothing. I explored my creativity as a business opportunity and worked towards establishing my own fashion brand.

I am inspired when I design from multiple things like nature and I enjoy looking at different cultures to produce something new and unique. Japanese fashion also fascinates me and I bring this into my work when I make items like Kimonos and wraps balancing these pieces with African prints and luxurious fabrics.
